Oss-nor was established in 1983 with the purpose of supplying and serving offshore activities on the Mid-Norway continental shelf. The company is 100% privately owned by local investors.
Today, Oss-nor is the "Base Work Shop" for the Norwegian and Barents sea. Our staff is experienced and highly skilled and our workshops are equipped with latest technology, which puts us at the cutting edge of the industry.
Oss-nor is centrally located in Kristiansund harbour, with deep-water quays protected from rough weather. It is within short distance from Vestbase (regional supply base), the airport and heliport.
The company is well prepared to meet the challenges of today and will face in the future with regard to the operation, maintenance and development of the fields in the Norwegian Sea.
Oss-nor Hammerfest, a subsidiary of Oss-nor, was established in 2004 and is located in Rypefjord next door to the Polarbase.
